BINDING CUTTER BASE
There are three flavors for this base, Porter Cable, DeWalt and Bosch. The only thing that is unique is the base it self, the handle and bearings stay the same. The bearings of this tool rides on the side of the guitar in order to keep the router and base 90 degrees to the surface of the top or back. A knurled knob at the back of the handle allows cutter depth adjustability of 1/32" per turn.
Porter Cable BINDING CUTTER BASE
Originally designed for the Porter Cable trim router 310 and 7301 this base will also work for the DeWalt D26670.
DeWalt BINDING CUTTER BASE
This base is for the older style DeWalt trim router.
Bosch "Colt" BINDING CUTTER BASE
This base is our most popular it came into production last year due to the popularity of the Bosch "Colt" trim router.
ADJUSTABLE BINDING CUTTER BASE
This handle will fit on all of the three models. It was specifically designed for the builder that made thin to thick body guitars, the lower bearing is adjustable so that it can be repositioned for the thickness of the body. Ordering details are listed on the appropriate trim router base page.
