  This is one of those tools that you see other Luthiers have in their shop but can't find them commercially available. The time has come for this tool. This Vacuum Press is designed to hold inserts for various guitar shapes, with different plate radii. This press has two Vacuum valves, the first one is for plate vacuum so that the top or back plates form to the correct radius and the second valve is for the rubber membrane so that the bracing does not move during the press cycle and provides balanced clamping force over the entire bracing system. For a complete work station you will only need two inserts one for the back and one for the top plate. The inserts are designed for multiple body sizes that will give you a complete solution for your guitar bracing needs.
